The filling was a bit too tangy for my taste, but the crust was perfect.

I've made this pie several times, and it's always a hit. The buttermilk gives it a unique flavor that is both tangy and creamy. I highly recommend this recipe!

This buttermilk pie is a Southern classic, and this recipe does it justice. The crust is flaky and buttery, and the filling is creamy and tangy. I love the addition of lemon zest, which gives the pie a bright, citrusy flavor.
