1 pound lean ground beef
¼ cup chopped onion
¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
½ cup tomato sauce
½ cup dried bread crumbs, seasoned
½ teaspoon seasoning salt
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 egg, beaten
¼ cup milk
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
½ cup tomato sauce
½ cup cocktail sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

1 garlic clove, minced

1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained

2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
2 large eggs
1 large egg, separated
6 slices process American cheese
1 tablespoon water

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms, parsley, salt, oregano and pepper; set aside., Unroll 1 tube of crescent dough and separate dough into eight triangles. Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • To Make Pat-in-Pan Pastry: In a medium bowl, mix 1 1/3 cups flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles tiny peas. Add cold water 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring with a fork after each addition. Mix lightly just until pastry almost cleans sides of bowl. Pat into bottom and sides of an 8 inch pie pan. 1/4-1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons prepared mustard

3 slices bacon
1 1/4 cups water
3 tablespoons margarine or 3 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt (I use garlic powder though, and extra of it)
3/4 cup milk (skim is fine)
2 cups instant mashed potatoes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided in half
1 medium tomatoes, chopped
2 green onions, sliced (or you can use white onion)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, ketchup, mustard and salt and mix well.

My father made this recipe up when we really didn't have any other food in the house, its cheap, and easy to make. The kids will love it.

4 large skinned and boiled potatoes
1 cup milk
1/2 lb ground beef
2 cups shredded or sliced cheddar cheese
1 (4 7/8 ounce) packet instant mashed potatoes
1/4-1/2 cup butter
1 cup milk
1/2 lb ground beef
2 cups shredded or sliced cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Fry the beef in a nonstick pan, and when finished, drain off the fat and set it aside Place the potatoes in a medium sized mixing bowl, mash them, or if using the instant, follow the directions on the box.
  • Add the milk and whip them until creamy.
  • In a medium sized baking dish, place a layer of the whipped potatoes about an inch thick. Add all of the ground beef for the second layer. Add half of the cheese for the third layer. Use the rest of the potatoes for the fourth layer. Add the rest of the cheese on top.
  • Place in oven and bake at 350°F until the cheese is melted and you see part of the potatoes golden brown.
  • Let it set for five minutes and then serve.

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/3 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
5 to 6 slices process cheese (Velveeta)
1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls

Steps:

  • In a skillet, cook the beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper; heat through. Spoon into an ungreased 9-in. pie plate. Arrange the cheese on top., Bake at 400° for 2-3 minutes or until cheese begins to warm. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Place over cheese, pressing down on edges of pie plate to seal. Bake 10-12 minutes longer or until golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.

1 lb hamburger
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c bisquick
1 c milk
2 eggs
garlic powder
6 slice bacon, crumbled

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a 9in pie plate with cooking spray.
  • 2. In a skillet brown hamburger, onion and bacon until done. Stir in salt. Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • 3. Mix remaining ingredients together in small bowl. Pour over meat mixture.

1 dash(es) worcestershire sauce
1 c shredded cheese
1 c milk
1/2 c bisquick mix

  • 3. Cook beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium about 10 minutes or until beef is brown. Drain excess fat.

  • 5. In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs and Bisquick. Make sure you try to get as many lumps out as you can. Pour over meat mixture.
