- 1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease or spray a 9x5 loaf pan, set aside. Whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic, salt, cayenne and black pepper in a large bowl. Add cheese and toss to coat each piece. Set aside. In a medium bowl whisk together milk, sour cream, butter and egg.
- 2. Gently stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients...mixing gently until just mixed. Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake 45-55 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out with just a few crumbs. Remove from oven, stir together melted basting butter and garlic, brush over top of loaf, cool in pan 5 minutes then remove to cooling rack...allow to cool at least 20 minute before serving.
