  • Prep Your Ingredients: Before you start cooking, have all your ingredients prepped and measured. This will help you stay organized and make the cooking process smoother.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: Whenever possible, use fresh ingredients for the best flavor and texture. For the Mexican Buckwheat Casserole, use fresh vegetables like bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes, and freshly grated cheese.
  • Don't Overcook the Buckwheat: Buckwheat cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked buckwheat can become mushy and lose its nutty flavor.
  • Season to Taste: Don't be afraid to season your dishes to taste. Add salt, pepper, and other spices until you reach the desired flavor profile.
  • Let the Casserole Rest: Once the casserole is baked, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld and the casserole to set.
