Tips:

  • Use fresh cherries for the best flavor. Frozen cherries can be used, but they will not have the same vibrant flavor as fresh cherries.
  • Pit the cherries before using them. A cherry pitter can be used to make this task easier.
  • Use a deep-dish pie plate to prevent the filling from bubbling over.
  • Do not overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the dough tough.
  • Chill the dough before rolling it out. This will make it easier to work with.
  • Bake the pie at a high temperature for the first 15 minutes. This will help to create a crispy crust.
  • Reduce the oven temperature after 15 minutes and continue to bake the pie until the filling is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.
  • Let the pie cool completely before serving. This will allow the filling to set.

Conclusion:

Cherry dream pie is a classic dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its creamy filling, flaky crust, and sweet-tart cherry flavor, this pie is sure to please everyone. Whether you are making it for a special occasion or just for a weeknight treat, cherry dream pie is sure to be a hit.
