Tips:
- Choose the right chicken: Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs are the best choices for this recipe. If using chicken breasts, slice them into thin strips for even cooking.
- Use fresh almonds: Sliced almonds add a nutty flavor and texture to the casserole. If you don't have sliced almonds, you can chop whole almonds or use a food processor to pulse them into small pieces.
- Don't overcook the chicken: The chicken should be cooked through but not dry. Overcooked chicken will be tough and chewy.
- Add the vegetables towards the end of cooking: This will help them retain their鮮豔的 color and nutrients.
- Use a good quality white wine: The white wine adds flavor to the casserole. Choose a wine that you would enjoy drinking on its own.
- Season the casserole to taste: Add salt, pepper, and other seasonings to taste. You can also add a pinch of dried herbs, such as thyme or oregano.
- Serve the casserole hot: Chicken casserole is best served hot out of the oven. You can garnish it with chopped parsley or chives.
