- Choose the right cut of pork: For this recipe, a pork shoulder or pork butt roast is best. These cuts are well-marbled and will become tender and flavorful when cooked slowly.
- Use a good quality chili powder: The chili powder is one of the key ingredients in this recipe, so it's important to use a good quality one. Look for a chili powder that is made with a blend of different chili peppers, and that has a deep red color.
- Don't be afraid to adjust the heat: This recipe can be made as mild or as spicy as you like. If you prefer a milder taco, use less chili powder. If you like it spicy, add more chili powder or a few chopped jalapeños.
- Make sure the pork is cooked through: The pork should be cooked until it is fork-tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Serve the tacos with your favorite toppings: Some popular toppings for chipotle pork tacos include shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, sour cream, and guacamole.
