Number Of Ingredients 3

One 12-ounce bag butterscotch chips
1/2 12-ounce bag milk chocolate chips
1 can spanish peanuts (or about 2 cups)

Steps:

  • 1. In a double boiler, melt the butterscotch and milk chocolate chips together. Stir until the mixture is nice and smooth. Add the peanuts and stir. 2. Immediately drop little blobs of the clusters onto a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper- using a spoon or a cookie scooper. Let them sit until the chocolate is set.

Tips:

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips or chunks.
  • To make the clusters more chewy, add a tablespoon of light corn syrup to the melted chocolate mixture.
  • For a more intense butterscotch flavor, use brown sugar instead of granulated sugar.
  • For a crunchier cluster, add some chopped nuts, such as peanuts, walnuts, or almonds.
  • If you don't have parchment paper, you can grease a baking sheet and then sprinkle it with cocoa powder before pouring on the chocolate mixture.
  • Be careful not to overcook the butterscotch mixture, or it will become too hard.
  • Let the clusters cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.

Conclusion:

Chocolate butterscotch peanut clusters are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are also a great way to use up leftover candy and chocolate. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a sweet and satisfying snack that everyone will love.
