⅓ cup butter, melted
½ cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda

  • Lightly grease the bottom only of a 9 1/4 by 5 1/4 by 2 3/4 inch loaf pan.
