CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER MELTAWAYS
These little candies have become a staple in my annual Christmas baking, though they are so simple, all you need is a microwave! They literally melt i your mouth and will be adored by any chocolate+PB lover! You can easily change the quantities as the white candy, chocolate candy, and peanut butter are used in equal amounts. I use Wilton brand candy melts but you could probably use chocolate chips or almond bark as well.

Tips:
- Use high-quality chocolate. The better the chocolate, the better the meltaways will taste. Look for chocolate that has a high cocoa content (70% or higher) and a smooth, rich flavor.
- Make sure the peanut butter is smooth. If the peanut butter is chunky, it will make the meltaways grainy. Use a food processor or blender to smooth out the peanut butter before adding it to the mixture.
- Chill the dough before baking. This will help the meltaways hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
- Bake the meltaways until they are just set. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly. The meltaways should be slightly soft in the center when you take them out of the oven.
- Let the meltaways cool completely before serving. This will allow them to firm up and develop their full flavor.
Conclusion:
Chocolate peanut butter meltaways are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are rich, decadent, and have the perfect balance of chocolate and peanut butter flavor. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make these meltaways at home and enjoy them with your family and friends.
