Tips:

  • Use a medium-sized skillet to cook the chorizo. This will help to prevent the chorizo from overcrowding and sticking to the pan. If you only have a small skillet, you can cook the chorizo in batches.
  • Cook the chorizo over medium heat. This will help to prevent the chorizo from burning.
  • Once the chorizo is cooked through, remove it from the skillet and set it aside to cool. Once it's cool enough to handle, chop it into small pieces.
  • Use a 9-inch springform pan to make the breakfast ring. This size pan will give you a nice, thick breakfast ring that is perfect for slicing and serving.
  • Be sure to grease the springform pan before adding the egg mixture. This will help to prevent the breakfast ring from sticking to the pan.
  • When adding the egg mixture to the springform pan, be sure to spread it out evenly. This will help to ensure that the breakfast ring cooks evenly.
  • Bake the breakfast ring for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is set. You can test the center of the breakfast ring by inserting a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out clean, the breakfast ring is done.
  • Let the breakfast ring cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will help to prevent the breakfast ring from falling apart.
