1 loaf bread, sliced
6 large eggs
½ cup white sugar, divided
6 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Cut the crust off of the bread and cut each slice of bread into 3 pieces.
  • Combine eggs, 1/4 cup of sugar, 4 teaspoons cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Dip bread in the egg mixture until it is soaked through.
  • Place about 6 sticks at a time into a greased skillet set over medium heat. Cook until golden and cooked though, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Continue until all sticks are cooked.
  • Mix remaining 1/4 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon together in a separate bowl. Transfer each stick into the mixture and turn until fully coated. Place on a platter and serve.

  • Using a pencil, draw ten 2-in. ovals on three sheets of parchment paper. Place paper, pencil mark side down, on baking sheets; chill until ready to use., In a large heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, water, corn syrup and cream of tartar. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil. Cook, without stirring, until a candy thermometer reads 325° or mixture is a golden amber color., Remove from the heat; stir in oil (keep face away from mixture as oil is very strong). Immediately ladle mixture over ovals; press a cinnamon stick into each. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.

2 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 drops cinnamon oil
1/4 cup margarine or 1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a small mixer bowl beat egg whites till you form soft peaks, gradually add sugar till you form stiff peaks.
  • Stir together the flour and cinnamon.
  • fold into egg whites.
  • Stir together oil of cinnamon and margarine or butter; fold into egg white mixture.
  • Drop batter by 2 level measuring teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet and spread with a spatula to a 3-inch circle, baking 2 or 3 cookies at a time allowing room to spread.
  • Bake for 6-7 minutes or till golden around the edges.
  • Let cool for only 2 0r 3 seconds, then loosen and quickly roll around a wooden spoon handle (a chopstick works well too).
  • Slid cookie onto a cooling rack and continue with other cookies.
  • Repeat with remaining batter, using a clean greased cookie sheet for each batch.
  • NOTE: If the cookie becomes too stiff to roll return to the oven for one minute.

  • Unroll the dough. Separate into strips. Twist each strip on a flat surface. Place 1 inch apart on a large ungreased cookie sheet.

I saw this on Pinterest and decided to give them a try. They are so good and really easy to make. I did tweak the recipe a little after I made the first batch. ( photo is my own)

1 loaf of white bread
8 oz cream cheese
3/4 c confectioners' sugar
1 c sugar
2 Tbsp cinnamon
1 stick butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Start my preheating oven to 350. Place cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl and using the defrost setting for 40 seconds soften the cream cheese, then mix in the confectioner's sugar and stir until smooth ( using the defrost will soften and warm the cream cheese a little and makes it easier to spread)
  • 2. In a small bowl mix the 1 cup of sugar and the cinnamon and mix well then set aside.
  • 3. Cut the crust off of the bread and using a rolling pin flatten out each piece of bread. Spread cream cheese mix on each piece and then roll up ( jelly roll style) Dip each stick into melted butter then roll in the cinnamon sugar.
  • 4. Place on a ungreased cookie sheet ( I lined my with parchment paper) Bake 25 minutes at 350

1 recipe of pizza dough
1 Tbsp melted, butter
cinnamon ( use as much as you prefer ) we like a lot
TOPPING
3/4 c flour
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c brown sugar
2 Tbsp oil
2 Tbsp shortening
GLAZE
1 - 1/2 c confectioners' sugar
3 Tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla exract

Steps:

  • 1. Pat out the pizza dough on a pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Poke holes all over the dough with fork.
  • 2. Brush melted butter over the pizza dough and completely cover the dough with cinnamon. Use as much as you like.
  • 3. Prepare the topping by mixing all the ingredients using a fork. Sprinkle all over the cinnamon dough.
  • 4. Place the pizza in a 450 degree oven for roughly 15 minutes.
  • 5. While pizza is cooking, make the icing. Mix all the ingredients together. If the icing is too thick, add extra milk. When pizza is done, drizzle icing all over the pizza.
  • 6. Enjoy!

Got this recipe from a Mennonite lady here in PA at a function I went to. They were so good that I had to ask her for the recipe. I have added my own touch to these great little treats by adding some jam to each piece. These could me for Breakfast, Lunch or just a snack. I hope you all try them and like them.

1 loaf of sliced white bread
1 (8) ounce cream cheese, softened
1 egg yoke
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c butter, melted
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 c sugar
optional: jam of choice

Steps:

  • 1. Mix together cream cheese, egg yolk and sugar in a bowl and set aside.
  • 2. Trim the crust from each slice of bread and flatten each piece as flat as you can with a rolling pin.
  • 3. Spread mixture on bread. (add a dab of jam if you wish). Mix cinnamon and sugar together set aside.
  • 4. Roll each slice of bread like a mini jelly roll and dip in butter and roll in combined cinnamon and sugar.

1/4 cup melted butter

2 large loaves of white bread
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/2 c sugar
3 stick butter, melted
1 1/2 c sugar
3 tsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. preheat oven to 350 degrees Grease baking pan.
  • 2. Cut crusts off each slice of bread, omitting the end pieces. Flatten with a rolling pin, set aside. I give the cutoff crusts to the birds outside. Mix together the 3 tsp cinnamon and the 1 1/2 cups sugar. set aside.
  • 3. Mix with mixer the cream cheese, egg and 1/2 cup sugar.
