Cockeyed cake, also known as tipsy cake or wonky cake, is a unique dessert that has been enjoyed for centuries. Its origin is shrouded in mystery, but it is believed to have originated in England or Scotland. The cake is characterized by its unusual shape, which is caused by the batter being poured into a tilted pan. This results in a cake that is taller on one side than the other, giving it a distinctive "cockeyed" appearance. The cake is typically made with a combination of flour, sugar, butter, eggs, and baking powder. Additional ingredients, such as fruit, spices, or nuts, can be added to create different variations of the cake.
