Tips:
- Prepare Ingredients Beforehand: Before you start baking, make sure all your ingredients are measured and ready to go. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling during the baking process.
- Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh ingredients will give your cake the best flavor and texture. If possible, use organic or locally-sourced ingredients.
- Don't Overmix the Batter: Overmixing the batter can result in a tough, dense cake. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the Cake in a Preheated Oven: Preheat your oven to the desired temperature before you start baking. This will help the cake rise evenly.
- Don't Open the Oven Door During Baking: Opening the oven door during baking can cause the cake to fall. Resist the urge to peek until the cake is almost done.
- Let the Cake Cool Completely Before Frosting: Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting it. This will prevent the frosting from melting and sliding off the cake.
