COMPANY PORK TENDERLOIN

Company Pork Tenderloin image

A Mr. Food recipe that is DH's favorite for pork tenderloin. The soy sauce total is 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon. I had difficulty entering that as the total amount. Sometimes I make a little more sauce as we like a lot of it. Recipe calls for ground red pepper, but I use white as a matter of preference.

Tips:

  • Choose a high-quality pork tenderloin: Look for a tenderloin that is firm to the touch, with no discoloration or bruising.
  • Trim excess fat from the tenderloin: Before cooking, trim any excess fat from the tenderloin. This will help to prevent the tenderloin from drying out.
  • Season the tenderloin generously: Pork tenderloin is a lean cut of meat, so it is important to season it generously before cooking. You can use a variety of seasonings, such as salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, or dried herbs.
  • Sear the tenderloin on high heat: To create a flavorful crust, sear the tenderloin on high heat for a few minutes per side.
  • Reduce the heat and cook the tenderloin to your desired doneness: After searing the tenderloin, reduce the heat and cook it to your desired doneness. The internal temperature of the tenderloin should reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, 160 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, or 170 degrees Fahrenheit for well-done.
  • Let the tenderloin rest before slicing: After cooking, let the tenderloin rest for a few minutes before slicing. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making it more tender and flavorful.

Pork tenderloin is a delicious and versatile cut of meat that can be prepared in a variety of ways. By following the tips above, you can create a flavorful and juicy pork tenderloin that your family and friends will love. Whether you are grilling, roasting, or pan-searing pork tenderloin, be sure to experiment with different seasonings and cooking methods to find your favorite way to prepare this delicious cut of meat.
