COOL ORIENTAL CUCUMBER SALAD
I put this recipe together from a lot of different sources after trying in vain to find one I really liked. It has a rather delicate flavor, but you can add a little stronger vinegar if you like. I did research to determine if there was a similar one but couldn't find one. My apologies if it is the same as another.

COOLER THAN A CUCUMBER SALAD
This recipe may be simple but its flavor is big and juicy. I think it would be fabulous alongside spicy Asian curries, quick stir-fries, herb-roasted dinners -- and yes, it would be perfect for picnics. This is a delicious make-ahead picnic salad. Make more than you think you'll need, because you just might want some for breakfast.

Steps:
- Place cucumbers and onion in a bowl. In a separate bowl combine sour cream, salt, vinegar, dill weed, sugar and pepper. Mix well. Pour over cucumbers and mix. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 6 hours or longer. Mix well and serve.
Tips:
- Choose fresh and firm cucumbers: The fresher the cucumbers, the better the salad will taste.
- Use a sharp knife to slice the cucumbers: This will help to ensure that the slices are even and uniform.
- Don't over-soak the cucumbers: Soaking the cucumbers for too long will make them watery and bland.
- Use a variety of vegetables: Feel free to add other vegetables to the salad, such as tomatoes, onions, or bell peppers.
- Experiment with different dressings: The dressing is what really makes the salad, so feel free to experiment with different flavors and ingredients.
Conclusion:
Cucumber salad is a refreshing and healthy side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy salad, give this cucumber salad a try.
