Tips:
- For a creamier dip, use a combination of cream cheese and sour cream.
- If you like a little heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
- To make the dip ahead of time, prepare it up to 2 days in advance and store it in the refrigerator. When ready to serve, reheat it in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes, or until heated through.
- Serve the dip with pita chips, tortilla chips, or crackers.
- For a healthier version, use low-fat or non-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
- To make the dip even more flavorful, sauté the spinach and artichokes in butter or olive oil before adding them to the dip.
- If you don't have any artichoke hearts on hand, you can use canned artichoke hearts, just be sure to drain and rinse them well before using.
