WESTERN MACARONI AND CHEESE DINNER
Can't remember if I got this off the Mac 'N Cheese box or where. It's a great way to change up plain old mac 'N cheese. Comfort food! If you have leftover fresh broccoli stems, chop them up and drop them in the boiling water with the noodles. I adjusted the recipe a bit.

Tips:
- Use a large pot: You'll need a large pot to cook the macaroni and vegetables. A 6-quart pot is a good size.
- Cook the macaroni al dente: Macaroni should be cooked al dente, or slightly firm to the bite. This will help it hold its shape and not become mushy.
- Use a variety of vegetables: Feel free to add other vegetables to the recipe, such as bell peppers, carrots, or zucchini.
- Use a flavorful cheese: A good quality cheddar cheese will give the macaroni and cheese a rich and creamy flavor.
- Add some spice: If you like a little spice, you can add some cayenne pepper or chili powder to the recipe.
- Serve immediately: Macaroni and cheese is best served immediately after it is cooked. The cheese will start to harden as it cools, so don't let it sit for too long.
Conclusion:
Cowboy macaroni is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a quick and easy meal. It's also a great way to use up leftover macaroni. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a hearty and satisfying meal that the whole family will enjoy. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give cowboy macaroni a try!
