Time 50m

Yield 1 9x13 pan, 24 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 (20 ounce) box brownie mix
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/2 cup salted peanuts
1 cup Reese's Peanut Butter cups, chopped
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
1/2 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 cups puffed rice cereal (Rice Krispies)

Steps:

  • Combine brownie mix, water, oil, and eggs until moistened. Bake for 20-25 minutes in a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Remove brownies from oven, top with peanuts and peanut butter cups. Bake for 4-6 minutes more.
  • Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Stir in cereal. Remove brownies from oven and pour chocolate-peanut butter mixture over hot brownies.
  • Refrigerate for two hours, then serve.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate: The better the chocolate, the better the brownies will be. Look for chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 60%.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the brownies tough. Mix the batter only until the ingredients are just combined.
  • Bake the brownies in a preheated oven: This will help to ensure that the brownies are evenly baked.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them: This will help to prevent the brownies from falling apart.
  • Store the brownies in an airtight container at room temperature: The brownies will keep for up to 3 days.

With their rich chocolate flavor and gooey center, crack brownies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a special treat, give crack brownies a try.
