Tips:

- Use fresh or frozen tart-sweet berries instead of dried berries. This results in a tastier and more colorful final dish. - Want to try a more savory combination? Use dried cherries instead of dried berries. This makes the oatmeal bar tastier! - If you're looking for a less doughy texture, reduce the amount of oats and flour in your recipe by 1/3 cup each. - For a crunchier texture, add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans to the bars before baking. - Drizzle a mixture of honey and melted butter over the bars before baking to give them a shiny, golden brown crust. - Adjust the sweetness of your oatmeal bars by using more or less brown sugar. You can also add a pinch of salt to balance out the sweetness. - Make sure to grease your baking pan properly to prevent the oatmeal bars from sticking. You can also use parchment paper for easier cleanup. - Cool the oatmeal bars completely before cutting them into pieces. This will help to prevent them from crumbling.
