Tips:

  • Use fresh cranberries. Fresh cranberries have a brighter flavor than frozen cranberries, and they will hold their shape better in the cookies.
  • Chop the cranberries finely. This will help them to distribute evenly throughout the cookies.
  • Zest the orange before juicing it. The zest adds a lot of flavor to the cookies.
  • Use a microplane grater to zest the orange. This will give you the finest zest, which will distribute evenly throughout the cookies.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies to hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies at a high temperature for a short amount of time. This will help the cookies to get crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before storing them. This will help them to keep their shape and prevent them from becoming too soft.

Conclusion:

These Cranberry Orange Holiday Cookies are the perfect treat for any holiday party. They are easy to make, delicious, and festive. With their bright red cranberries and sweet orange flavor, these cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone.
