We often keep a pail of this in our travel trailer freezer for a quick drink on those hot summer days when we're camping. (Cooking time is freezing time and number of servings depends on the size glasses you use).

48 ounces cranberry juice (Ocean Spray is the best)
1 quart apricot brandy
1 (12 ounce) can frozen lemonade, slightly thawed
1 (16 ounce) bottle 7-up or 1 (16 ounce) bottle Sprite
additional 7-up or Sprite, for serving

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together in a gallon ice cream pail or other large freezable container.
  • Freeze overnight.

1 pound fresh or frozen cranberries
2-1/2 cups cold water, divided
3-1/2 cups fresh or frozen unsweetened raspberries
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
2 cups sugar
2 cups ginger ale
1-3/4 cups raspberry ginger ale or additional ginger ale

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, cook the cranberries and 1-1/2 cups water over medium heat until the berries pop, about 15 minutes. Stir in raspberries. , Transfer to a blender; cover and process until smooth. Strain and discard seeds, reserving juice. Pour the juice into a 2-qt. freezer-proof container; set aside. , In a small saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over remaining water. let stand for 1 minute. Stir in sugar. Cook and stir over medium heat until gelatin and sugar are dissolved. Add to berry juice. Stir in ginger ale; cover and freeze., To use frozen slush: Remove from the freezer 1 hour before serving. 1 package (3 ounces) raspberry gelatin
1 cup boiling water
4 cups cranberry juice
2 cups cold water
2 cups rum
1 can (12 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
6 cups lemon-lime soda

Steps:

6 cups cranberry juice

2 cups orange juice
Juice of 2 limes
1 cup sugar
1 cup fresh cranberries, diced
