PORK CHOP AND RICE CASSEROLE
This simple recipe was handed down to me from my grandmother. She was a fabulous cook that could master elaborate dishes, but she also taught me how to make some easy and delicious meals. Slow baking makes this a 'fall of the bone' dish with even tougher cuts of pork!

CREAMY PORK CHOPS
This is a very homey comforting pork dish. It doesn't take a lot of work or ingredients. I was looking for something that would just taste good and have a wonderful gravy. The onions and garlic add a really nice mellow sweetness to the dish. I used yellow onions which are sweeter than white, but almost any kind of onion would work. I would not use red onions though because the flavor is much too strong. My family loves garlic so I used more, but make it to your tastes. My 2 year old gobbled it up. Left overs are delicious!

SUNNY'S CREAMY CHICKEN PORK CHOPS
This recipe is what I reach for when I'm tired and don't want to stand over the stove for hours, but still want to serve a really delicious dinner! A bonus is that it's also a lower calorie entree the way I make it. This dish can also be made with chicken instead of pork; either whole pieces, or chunks, simply adjust cooking time accordingly. Serve with rice, pasta or mashed potatoes.

Steps:
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add onions and garlic and saute until translucent. Add pork chops and brown about 4 to 6 minutes each side, stirring often to avoid burning onions and garlic.
- Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, whisk together soup and broth. Pour soup mixture over browned chops, stirring well to loosen onions and garlic and to deglaze skillet. Reduce heat and gently simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring and turning chops occasionally, until chops are cooked through. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.

Tips:
- Use thick-cut pork chops. This will help them stay juicy during cooking.
- Season the pork chops generously. A good rub will help to develop flavor and keep the meat moist.
- Cook the pork chops over medium heat. This will help to prevent them from drying out.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the pork chops are cooked to your desired doneness. The USDA recommends cooking pork chops to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help to redistribute the juices and make the meat more tender.
Conclusion:
Creamy celery pork chops are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The pork chops are cooked in a creamy sauce made with celery, onion, and garlic, and they are served over rice or mashed potatoes. This dish is sure to please the whole family.
