Tips:

  • Choose a Tilapia with Skin: Leaving the skin on helps the tilapia stay moist during baking.
  • Pat the Tilapia Dry: This helps the seasonings stick to the fish and prevents the fish from steaming instead of baking.
  • Season the Tilapia Liberally: Don't be afraid to use a generous amount of seasonings. This is what will give the fish its flavor.
  • Don't Overcook the Tilapia: Tilapia is a delicate fish that can easily be overcooked. Cook it just until it flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve the Tilapia Immediately: Tilapia is best served hot out of the oven. If you let it sit for too long, it will start to dry out.
