1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
½ cup chopped onion

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
½ cup water

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

1 cup chopped onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 to 1 1/2 cups diced cooked ham
Kosher salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of celery soup, undiluted)
1/2 cup water
