Time 55m

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/4 c butter
1/2 20 oz can(s) crushed pineapples, drained
1 c pineapple juice, from draining the can
1 c milk
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp vanilla
4 eggs
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c flour

Steps:

  • 1. ***If your pineapple juice doesn't equal 1 cup then make up the difference by adding milk.
  • 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter deep dish pie pan.
  • 3. Throw everything into a blender and blend for 45 seconds on high. If you like coconut it is a perfect addition add half a cup before blending.
  • 4. Pour into buttered pie pan. If you added coconut, sprinkle a little on the top.

Tips:

  • To ensure a smooth and lump-free pie filling, whisk the cornstarch, sugar, and salt together in a small bowl before adding the pineapple mixture.
  • Use fresh pineapple for the best flavor. If using canned pineapple, drain and rinse it thoroughly before using.
  • To prevent the pie from becoming too runny, cook the filling until it has thickened and coats the back of a spoon. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
  • For a golden brown top, sprinkle the pie with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon before baking.
  • Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing and serving. This will help the filling to set and prevent it from running out.

Conclusion:

This crustless pineapple pie is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. The combination of sweet pineapple, creamy filling, and crispy topping is sure to please everyone.
