I developed this recipe after wanting something different to serve with celery. First party I took it to it was a hit, and people were asking for the recipe. This is my new standard for an appetizer. Hope you enjoy!

½ cup raisins, finely chopped
2 tablespoons minced peeled apple
1 teaspoon medium curry powder, or to taste
½ teaspoon lemon juice
8 stalks celery, or as needed, cut into thirds

2 cups thinly sliced celery
1 small onion, chopped
1/3 cup butter, cubed
1 medium tart apple, chopped
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 to 1 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

8 celery, stalks diced

2 garlic cloves, minced
2 inches piece gingerroot, peeled and finely diced

1 teaspoon dried rosemary or 1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary
4 -6 cups water or 4 -6 cups vegetable stock
