DAD'S PIZZA DOUGH

Dad's Pizza Dough image

A pizza dough recipe from my dad. Best one I have ever made myself. Works beautifully if you use a pizza stone in the oven. Preparation time includes rising time. Use pizza flour if you can find it, I do, but I'm sure ordinary flour will work fine too.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the pizza will be. Use fresh, flavorful tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and your favorite toppings.
  • Make your own dough: Homemade dough is much tastier than store-bought dough. It's also not as difficult to make as you might think. There are many easy recipes available online.
  • Let the dough rise properly: This will help to develop the flavor and texture of the dough. Be sure to follow the recipe instructions carefully.
  • Preheat your oven to a high temperature: This will help to create a crispy crust. The ideal temperature is around 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Don't overload the pizza: Too many toppings will make the pizza soggy. Use a moderate amount of toppings and spread them evenly over the dough.
  • Bake the pizza until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly: This will usually take around 10-12 minutes.

Conclusion:

Making pizza at home is a fun and rewarding experience. With a little practice, you can make delicious pizza that rivals anything you can get from a pizzeria. So what are you waiting for? Get started today!
