DANGEROUS MUG CAKE
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night! *After reading the first few reviews, I realized that when I had originally made it, I had been using self rising flour! So, I've since updated the recipe and add the baking powder and salt that was missing... not surprisingly, it turned out much better! We always top ours with whipping cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

THE MOST DANGEROUS CAKE RECIPE
My husband is a chocoholic. Yes he loves chocolate. A friend sent this to me as a joke, but in truth, it really is pretty good for a chocolate fix. It's simple, prep time is 2 min with cooking time of 3 min, moist, and great warm with a cold glass of milk.....Enjoy!!!

Do we care.....NO! To give as a gift put dry ingredients on a baggy in the mug and give with a tag saying: cake in a mug needed items 1 egg 3 Tbsp oil 1 splash vanilla 2-3 squirts chocolate syrup Add dry ingredients to the mug; mix well with a fork. Add egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in milk, oil, and vanilla, and mix well. Add chips, if using. Drizzle chocolate syrup over top. Put mug in the microwave, and cook for three minutes at 1,000 watts. Cake will rise over the top of the mug -- do not be alarmed. When finished, carefully remove mug from microwave and allow to cool a little. Tip onto a small plate prior to serving, if desired. Yields one generous serving or two "more virtuous" servings. Drizzle with more chocolate syrup if desired.

Tips:
- Use the right mug: Make sure you use a microwave-safe mug that is at least 12 ounces in volume. A larger mug will result in a cake that is too thin, while a smaller mug will cause the cake to overflow.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will result in a tough, rubbery cake. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
- Don't microwave the cake for too long: The cooking time will vary depending on the power of your microwave, so start with the minimum time and add more time as needed. Overcooking the cake will result in a dry, crumbly cake.
Conclusion:
Mug cakes are a quick and easy way to satisfy your sweet tooth. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a delicious cake that is perfect for a single serving. Just remember to follow the tips above to avoid ending up with a dangerous mug cake.
