1/4 tsp almond extract
1/3 c unsweetened flaked coconut (optional)
1 Tbsp powdered sugar, sifted (optional)

Tips:

  • Use fresh or frozen berries: Fresh berries are ideal, but frozen berries can be used as well. If using frozen berries, thaw them completely before using.
  • Use a sugar substitute: This recipe uses a combination of erythritol and stevia to sweeten the pie. You can use your favorite sugar substitute, but be sure to adjust the amount to taste.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make it tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough before baking will help to prevent it from shrinking too much.
  • Bake the pie until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling: The pie is done baking when the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. Be careful not to overbake the pie, or the crust will become dry and crumbly.

Conclusion:

This impossible berry pie is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for people with diabetes or anyone looking for a healthier dessert option. The pie is made with a sugar-free crust and filling, and it is packed with fresh berries. The pie can be served with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream.
