DIJON-ORANGE CHOPS

Dijon-Orange Chops image

Chops go very well with an orange flavour and they go very well with a dijon flavour. Combining the two with chops works well in my opinion. A little hot sauce might not be a bad idea either.

  • To ensure your pork chops are cooked evenly, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. It should read 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare, 150°F (66°C) for medium, or 155°F (68°C) for medium-well.
  • If you don't have Dijon mustard, you can substitute yellow mustard. However, the flavor of the sauce will be slightly different.
  • You can also use a different type of citrus juice in this recipe, such as lemon juice or grapefruit juice. However, orange juice pairs particularly well with pork.
  • If you want a thicker sauce, you can simmer it for a few minutes longer. You can also add a cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
  • Serve the pork chops with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.

Conclusion:

This Dijon orange pork chops recipe is a delicious and easy way to prepare pork chops. The combination of Dijon mustard and orange juice creates a flavorful sauce that perfectly complements the pork. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
