QUICK & EASY BBQ MEATLOAF (5 INGREDIENTS)

Quick & Easy BBQ Meatloaf (5 Ingredients) image

Very easy quick meatloaf recipe. I make many varieties of meatloaf... sometimes the Italian with breadcrumbs, garlic, eggs, etc... This version is a tasty quick BBQ recipe that is great for busy nights or dinner in a rush. Sometimes I put the remaining BBQ sauce right on the loaf prior to putting it in oven if you like it a little hardened. For easy clean-up, I use a baking sheet lined with parchment paper that I spray lightly with Pam Olive Oil spray.

Tips:

  • Choose the right type of meat: Different meats have different cooking times and temperatures, so it's important to choose the right cut for your recipe. For ribs, pork shoulder is a good choice because it's fatty and flavorful. For chicken, breast or thigh meat can be used, but dark meat will be more flavorful. For beef, brisket or chuck roast are good choices because they're tough cuts that become tender when cooked low and slow.
  • Prepare your meat properly: Before cooking, trim any excess fat from the meat and season it with your favorite spices. If you're using a marinade, let the meat soak in it for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Cook your meat at the right temperature: The key to tender, juicy barbecue is to cook it at a low temperature for a long period of time. This allows the collagen in the meat to break down, making it fall-apart tender. The ideal cooking temperature for most barbecue meats is between 225°F and 250°F.
  • Use a smoker or grill with a lid: A smoker or grill with a lid will help to create a smoky flavor and keep the meat moist. If you're using a charcoal grill, add wood chips or chunks to the coals to create smoke.
  • Let the meat rest before serving: After cooking, let the meat rest for 10-15 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

With a little planning and effort, you can easily make delicious barbecue at home. Just follow these tips and you'll be sure to impress your friends and family with your culinary skills. So fire up your grill or smoker and get started today!
