Tips:

  • To save time, use a pre-made orange sauce or marinade. You can find these in the Asian food section of most grocery stores.
  • To make the orange sauce from scratch, use freshly squeezed orange juice. This will give the sauce a brighter flavor.
  • If you don't have rice wine vinegar, you can substitute white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar.
  • To make the stir-fry more flavorful, use a variety of vegetables. Some good options include broccoli, carrots, snap peas, and bell peppers.
  • To get the chicken extra crispy, double-coat it in the cornstarch mixture.
  • Be sure to cook the chicken over high heat so that it browns quickly and evenly.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the chicken. If you do, the chicken will steam instead of fry and it won't be as crispy.
  • Serve the orange chicken stir-fry over rice or noodles.

Conclusion:

Orange chicken vegetable stir-fry is a quick and easy dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is also a great way to get your kids to eat their vegetables.
