My mom has made these all my life. I love them more then any other spritz cookie. They are not as light of other spritz cookie but so delicious.

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
2 -3 drops food coloring, of choice if desired (optional)

Steps:

  • Cream butter and cream cheese.
  • Add sugar , mix well.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Slowly add the flour.
  • Mix well.
  • Add food coloring, if desired.
  • Fill cookie press half full.
  • Press onto cookie sheet.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes at 375.
