1 Cup confectioner's sugar
2 Tablespoon butter, softened

1 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
4 egg yolks
2 tablespoons eggnog

3 cups all-purpose flour
FROSTING:
3 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon rum extract
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 to 2 tablespoons eggnog
Additional ground nutmeg
Halved candied cherries, optional

  • In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar and nutmeg until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolks, eggnog and extract. Gradually beat in flour.
