Steps:
- pour a bit of olive oil onto pan, just enough so that the egg doesn't stick to the pan.
- crack an egg onto the pan, and wait for it to cook just a little bit. (make sure you break the yolk).
- just kind of scramble them and make sure there are little bits of egg. NOTE: this is not scrambled eggs.
- when the egg is cooked, move it into a bowl. add rice to the bowl and sort of mix it just so that the egg and rice are no longer separated.
- add soy sauce and sesame oil. the sesame oil will help the egg and rice mix well. adding sesame seeds is optional, but it gives it a good taste.
- make sure the soy sauce is well mixed in with the rice.
- enjoy! :).

Steps:
- Put 50ml of the soy sauce and half the lime juice in a shallow dish. Crush in 2 garlic cloves. Slice the tofu into four equal squares and add to the marinade. Cover and leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 20 mins, turning halfway through.
- Meanwhile, fill a medium saucepan a quarter full with water, then put on a medium heat until it starts to simmer. Sit a colander over the pan, add the broccoli, cover and steam for 10 mins, or until tender. Meanwhile, grate the remaining garlic and the ginger into a small bowl. Stir in the remaining soy sauce and lime juice, the red chilli and honey. Set aside.
- Drain the tofu and thoroughly pat dry. Whisk the eggs in a bowl with a pinch of salt.
- Heat ½ tsp oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat. Once hot, add a piece of the tofu to the pan and pour a quarter of the egg over it. Use a fish slice to push the egg towards the tofu - you should end up with a little eggy tofu square. Cook for 2-3 mins on each side until golden, carefully turning. Set aside, cover to keep warm and repeat with the remaining oil, tofu and egg.
- Cook the rice following pack instructions. Serve the tofu omelettes with the rice, broccoli and a drizzle of the chilli dressing.

MIXED BOWL OF EGG, RICE, BUTTER/SESAME OIL, SOY SAUCE, TOASTED S
The recipe title says it all. I remember eating this all the time as a kid. I think my mother concocted it for me one day when she was busy. Apparently other Korean kids have eaten this, too. I was hooked at the time! I now realize that it isn't healthy at all, but that doesn't stop me from occassionally indulging when there is absolutely nothing else to eat in the house! Adjust the measured ingredients to your preference. The measurements were just guesstimates. I used white glutinous rice, but I'm sure any kind of white rice will do. The glutinous rice, however, does soak up that butter/oil, so it gets soggy if you don't eat it right away.

Steps:
- Mix all of the ingredients (except for the lightly fried egg) together in a bowl. Top with the fried egg (strips or whole).
- Enjoy!
- *The "lightly fried egg" is just cracked over a skillet in a little bit of oil. (Is that stir-frying? In case you can't tell, I'm really a novice cook!) Or you could whisk an egg and pour it over a griddle/skillet, as if you were going to make an omelette. Then you slice the egg in little strips.
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh, high-quality eggs, rice, and soy sauce will make a big difference in the taste of your dish.
- Cook the eggs properly: Overcooked eggs will be tough and rubbery, so cook them until they are just set. You can do this by frying them over medium heat for a few minutes per side, or by boiling them for 6-7 minutes.
- Use a good quality soy sauce: Not all soy sauces are created equal. Look for a soy sauce that is made with natural ingredients and has a rich, umami flavor.
- Don't be afraid to experiment: This recipe is just a starting point. Feel free to add other ingredients that you like, such as vegetables, meat, or fish.
Conclusion:
Eggs with rice and soy dressing is a simple but delicious dish that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's a great way to use up leftover rice, and it's also a good source of protein and nutrients. The next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give this recipe a try.
