Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh, ripe tomatoes and tomatillos. Roma tomatoes are a good choice for enchiladas because they have a meaty texture and low water content.
  • If you don't have time to make your own enchilada sauce, you can use a store-bought sauce. However, be sure to choose a sauce that is flavorful and not too spicy.
  • To make your enchiladas more cheesy, add a layer of shredded cheese between the tortillas and the sauce.
  • If you are using a meat filling, be sure to cook it thoroughly before adding it to the enchiladas.
  • To prevent the enchiladas from sticking to the pan, spray the pan with cooking spray or grease it with butter.
  • Serve the enchiladas with your favorite toppings, such as sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and shredded lettuce.

Conclusion:

Enchiladas are a delicious and versatile dish that can be made with a variety of fillings and sauces. Whether you are looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal or a special dish to serve for a party, enchiladas are sure to please everyone at the table.
