Number Of Ingredients 5

1 box Duncan Hines strawberry cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 to 2 tablespoons water or milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment, and spray with Pam. Mix strawberry cake mix, eggs, and oil with a hand mixer until well combined. Spread batter evenly into pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until just set; be careful not to overcook. Allow brownies to cool for 10 minutes; lift carefully from pan using ends of parchment to lift. Mix powdered sugar and water until smooth. Pour glaze over brownies, spreading to edges so that glaze will drip down sides. Allow brownies to cool and glaze to set before cutting into squares.

Tips:

  • Use fresh strawberries. Fresh strawberries will give your brownies the best flavor. If you don't have fresh strawberries, you can use frozen strawberries, but be sure to thaw them completely before using.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing the batter will make your brownies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the brownies until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached. If the toothpick comes out clean, the brownies are overbaked.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before frosting them. This will help the frosting to set properly.

Conclusion:

Strawberry brownies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a batch of brownies that will be enjoyed by everyone. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give strawberry brownies a try!
