Time 1m

Yield 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 3

3/4 ounce Amaretto
1 dash Bacardi 151 rum
1/2 glass beer

Steps:

  • Fill a shot glass 3/4 full of Amaretto.
  • Top with 151 (enough to make a flame).
  • Place the shot glass in a larger glass.
  • Fill the larger glass with beer close to the level of the shot glass.
  • Light the Amaretto/151 and let it burn a few seconds.
  • Blow it out (or not, if you're brave) and slam it.

Tips:

  • Choose high-quality Dr. Pepper for the best flavor. A good quality soda will make a big difference in the final product.
  • Use a heavy-bottomed pot to prevent the mixture from burning. A Dutch oven or a large saucepan works well.
  • Be careful when lighting the mixture on fire. Keep your face and hands away from the flame.
  • Let the mixture burn for a few seconds before stirring. This will help to caramelize the sugar and create a more intense flavor.
  • Serve the Flaming Dr. Pepper immediately. It is best enjoyed while it is still hot and bubbly.

Conclusion:

The Flaming Dr. Pepper is a fun and easy-to-make cocktail that is perfect for parties or special occasions. It is also a great way to use up leftover Dr. Pepper. With its sweet, spicy, and smoky flavor, the Flaming Dr. Pepper is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
