Steps:
- 1. Purchase some frozen microwaveable corn on the cob. It's already done, so when you put it in the microwave, it won't take too long. 2. Wash the corn off in cold water to get rid of some of the frozen ice. You can also place the corn in some cold water in the sink and let it set for about five to ten minutes, so when you get ready to cook it, it won't take too long. 3. Fill a microwaveable bowl with some water and place all of the corn in the bowl. 4. Cook on high for seven minutes. 5. Check to see if the corn is done by sticking a fork in it. You can also take one corn out to see if it's still cold on the inside. If it is, cook for five more minutes. 6. Drain corn after microwaving and serve with melted butter.

MICROWAVE CORN ON THE COB
Simple and quick. Different from the other recipes in that the corn is wrapped in wax paper. Adjustable to any reasonable amount of corn. Would be ideal for someone cooking for one or two. From Kraft Food + Family. The butter is listed as an optional ingredient since you really don't need it, but I enjoy melting a huge blob of it on my corn after it's done :-)

Steps:
- Shuck fresh corn. Wrap each ear in wax paper.
- Microwave for 2 minutes per ear of corn. (For 4 ears, 8 minutes.) Remove from microwave, open carefully, and enjoy. I like to top mine with salt and butter, the magazine suggested a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and lime juice.
- To keep them warm awhile, leave wrapped and cover with a kitchen towel :-).
Tips:
- Select high-quality corn on the cob: Choose fresh, sweet corn with tightly packed kernels and no blemishes.
- Prepare the corn: Remove the husks and silks from the corn cobs. Rinse the cobs thoroughly under cold water.
- Add moisture: Place the corn cobs in a microwave-safe dish with a small amount of water (about 1/4 cup) to prevent them from drying out during cooking.
- Cover the dish: Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap or a microwave-safe lid to create a steamy environment that helps cook the corn evenly.
- Microwave the corn: Microwave the corn on high power for 3-4 minutes per cob. Cooking time may vary depending on the wattage of your microwave and the size of the corn cobs.
- Check for doneness: Use a fork or knife to pierce a kernel near the center of the cob. If the kernel is tender and easily pierced, the corn is done.
- Let the corn cool slightly: Allow the corn to cool for a few minutes before handling. This will prevent the kernels from falling off the cob.
- Serve with your favorite toppings: Enjoy the corn on the cob with butter, salt, pepper, or other desired toppings.
Conclusion:
Cooking frozen corn on the cob in the microwave is a quick, easy, and convenient way to enjoy this delicious and nutritious vegetable. With just a few simple steps, you can have perfectly cooked corn on the cob in a matter of minutes. Whether you're serving it as a side dish, topping for salads or tacos, or simply enjoying it as a snack, this method is sure to become a staple in your kitchen.
