FROZEN FRUIT DELIGHT FROM THE CLAUNCH CAFE

Frozen Fruit Delight from the Claunch Cafe image

The Claunch Cafe in Tuscumbia, Alabama, serves this Frozen Fruit Delight, on their Chicken Salad Plate! It is TDF, in my opinion!! Here is the recipe from their cookbook. (No copyright)(They serve it in the foil liners/cupcake foils.)It's located in downtown Tuscumbia, in the park near the waterfall. If you go, be early as it is crowded later and you might miss something.

Tips:

  • Choosing frozen fruits that are naturally sweet can help reduce the amount of sugar needed to make the sorbet.
  • To make the sorbet creamier, add a tablespoon of plain yogurt or a splash of cream before freezing.
  • If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can still make sorbet by freezing the fruit mixture in a covered container and stirring it every few hours until it reaches the desired consistency.
  • For a more intense flavor, try using frozen fruits that have been macerated in sugar or fruit juice before freezing.
  • Adding a pinch of salt to the sorbet can help enhance the sweetness of the fruit.

Conclusion:

Frozen fruit sorbet is a delicious and refreshing treat that is also healthy and easy to make. With just a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can enjoy a delicious sorbet that is perfect for any occasion.
