2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon pepper

  • Place chicken in slow cooker.

Tips:

  • Use a good quality chicken: This will make a big difference in the taste of the dish. Look for chicken that is free-range and organic, if possible.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When you're searing the chicken, make sure to leave enough space between the pieces so that they can brown properly. Otherwise, they will steam instead of sear.
  • Cook the chicken over medium heat: This will help to prevent the chicken from burning. If the heat is too high, the outside of the chicken will cook too quickly while the inside remains raw.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken: The chicken is done cooking when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. If you don't have a meat thermometer, you can also tell if the chicken is done by cutting into it. The juices should run clear, not pink.
  • Let the chicken rest before serving: This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Garlic brown sugar chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The chicken is seared until golden brown and then simmered in a flavorful sauce made with garlic, brown sugar, and soy sauce. The result is a tender and juicy chicken that is sure to please everyone at the table. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dinner recipe, give garlic brown sugar chicken a try.
