Tips for Perfect Garlic Chive-Grilled Red Potatoes:

  • Select the Right Potatoes: Choose small, uniformly-sized red potatoes, as they cook evenly and retain their shape well during the roasting process.
  • Parboil the Potatoes: This step helps ensure the potatoes cook evenly and become tender on the inside while remaining slightly crisp on the outside.
  • Use Fresh Garlic and Chives: Freshly chopped garlic and chives infuse the potatoes with more intense flavor and aroma.
  • Generously Season the Potatoes: Don't be afraid to season the potatoes generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. This helps enhance the natural flavors of the potatoes and herbs.
  • Roast at High Temperature: Roasting the potatoes at a high temperature helps caramelize the outer layer, creating a delicious crispy texture.
  • Garnish with Fresh Herbs: Before serving, sprinkle chopped fresh chives or parsley over the roasted potatoes for an extra burst of flavor and color.

Conclusion:

Garlic chive-grilled red potatoes are an easy and flavorful side dish that can be enjoyed as part of a main meal or as a delightful snack. With just a few simple ingredients and a little preparation, you can create this delicious dish that is sure to impress your friends and family.
