Tips:

  • When choosing your steak, look for a cut that is at least 1 inch thick. This will ensure that the steak is cooked evenly throughout.
  • To get the perfect sear on your steak, make sure your pan is very hot before adding the steak. You should also use a high-quality oil that can withstand high temperatures, such as grapeseed oil or avocado oil.
  • Let your steak rest for a few minutes before slicing it. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.
  • When making the nachos, be sure to use a variety of toppings. This will add flavor and texture to the dish. Some popular toppings include cheese, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and jalapeños.
  • If you want to make the nachos ahead of time, you can assemble them and then store them in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. When you're ready to serve, simply bake them in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
