Tips:

  • Use fresh ginger. Fresh ginger has a more intense flavor than dried ginger, and it will give your cookies a more vibrant flavor.
  • Grate the ginger finely. This will help to distribute the flavor of the ginger throughout the cookies.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This will help to create a smooth and creamy dough.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. This will help to prevent the dough from curdling.
  • Stir in the dry ingredients until just combined. Overmixing the dough will make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 1 hour before baking. This will help the cookies to hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies in a preheated oven. This will help to ensure that the cookies bake evenly.
  • Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack before storing them. This will help to prevent the cookies from sticking together.

Conclusion:

These ginger cream cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are soft and chewy, with a warm and spicy flavor. The cream cheese frosting adds a touch of sweetness and richness that takes these cookies to the next level. Whether you are looking for a holiday cookie or a simple snack, these ginger cream cookies are sure to please.
