  • Sprinkle the remaining crumble over the peach filling.

Tips:

  • To ensure the perfect glaze, use fresh, ripe peaches. Softer peaches will create a smoother glaze, while firmer peaches will result in a chunkier texture.
  • To easily remove the peach skins, blanch them in boiling water for a minute or two before transferring them to an ice bath. The skins will slip right off!
  • If you don't have time to make your own pie crust, feel free to use a store-bought one. Just be sure to pre-bake it according to the package instructions.
  • For a crispier crust, brush the edges of the pie crust with egg wash before baking.
  • To prevent the glaze from becoming too thick, add a little bit of water or orange juice. You can also adjust the amount of sugar to taste.
  • Serve the glazed peach pie warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a truly indulgent dessert.

Conclusion:

The glazed peach pie is a classic summer dessert that is both delicious and easy to make. With its flaky crust, sweet and juicy peaches, and glistening glaze, this pie is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a special treat, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
