Tips:

  • Use a digital scale to measure ingredients: This will ensure accuracy and consistency in your baking.
  • Make sure your gluten-free flour blend is fresh: Old flour can result in dry, crumbly cakes.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can develop the gluten in the flour, resulting in tough cakes.
  • Use a light touch when mixing the batter: Folding the ingredients together gently will help to prevent overmixing.
  • Let the batter rest for a few minutes before baking: This will allow the flour to absorb the liquid and result in a smoother cake.
  • Bake the cakes in a preheated oven: This will help to ensure that they rise evenly.
  • Don't overbake the cakes: Overbaking can result in dry, crumbly cakes.
  • Let the cakes cool completely before frosting them: This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.
