Tips:

  • Use buttermilk for fluffier pancakes: Buttermilk reacts with the baking soda to create a light and airy texture.
  • Let the batter rest: This allows the gluten in the flour to relax, resulting in more tender pancakes.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can make the pancakes tough.
  • Use a hot griddle: A hot griddle will help the pancakes cook evenly and prevent them from sticking.
  • Flip the pancakes only once: Flipping the pancakes too often can make them dry and tough.
  • Serve the pancakes immediately: Pancakes are best served hot off the griddle.

Conclusion:

Golden Penny Pancakes are a delicious and versatile breakfast option. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create light, fluffy pancakes that the whole family will love. So next time you're looking for a tasty and satisfying breakfast, give Golden Penny Pancakes a try.
