I have no idea where this recipe originally came from. It's one of those strange concoctions that you try to describe to people and, well, they just never understand... until they TASTE it. This is a family recipe my great grandmother - aka Granny - used to make for my cousins and me. It is the ultimate comfort food and I rarely make it because I can't stop eating it!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Brown beef well, then drain.
- Saute onion in 1 tbs. butter until clear.
- Combine beef, onion, and remaining ingredients in large sauce pan. Simmer for 20 minutes.
