½ cup elbow macaroni

1 large carrot, diced
2 stalks celery, diced

1 small zucchini, diced
1 (28 ounce) can diced San Marzano tomatoes with juice
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce

6 potatoes, peeled and chopped (I cut them in pretty small pieces)
2 leeks, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
4 vegetable bouillon cubes
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
5 cups water
1 tablespoon salt
1/3 cup butter
chives, chopped to taste
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients, except chives and milk, in a 4 quart slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Stir in milk and chives during last hour of cooking.

1 medium onion
1 pound lean hamburger
1/4 pound hot sausage
1 package (2-cup) Kraft shredded sharp cheddar
1 regular size bag tater tots
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can (using soup can) milk

Steps:

  • Set oven to 350 degrees F. Chop onion or slice thin according to preference. Brown hamburger together with sausage in pan. When no pink, drain if necessary.
  • Spread hamburger/sausage mixture on bottom of 9 x 13 casserole dish. Add layer of onion. Spread cheese evenly over that layer. Neatly lay out tater tots over layer of cheese. Mix together can of mushroom soup and, using soup can, a can of milk. Pour this evenly over the tater tot layer.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours. When top is browned, remove from oven. Let cool for about 5-10 minutes to give it time to set up then cut in squares and enjoy!

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup instant rice

2 teaspoons white sugar
6 slices American cheese

Steps:
